About Michelle

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a space to slow down, make sense of what we’re experiencing, and feel truly heard. I believe meaningful change begins with genuine connection. When we feel understood—not judged, fixed, or rushed—we are often better able to understand ourselves, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward the changes we want to make.

My approach is warm and relational, grounded in the belief that feeling connected and understood can create space for change. I work with couples, families, and individuals, with a particular passion for helping people create stronger, more connected relationships. I focus less on who is right or wrong and more on understanding what is happening between you.

Often, underneath conflict and distance are deeper feelings of fear, loneliness, or not feeling important to one another. I endeavour to help you recognize these patterns, communicate in new ways, repair hurts, and reconnect.

I also bring my own life experience to the way I connect with clients. I am a parent balancing work and family life, and I understand the experience of raising children, navigating marriage, and caring for aging parents. I know how easy it can be to become stretched between relationships and the everyday demands of life—and how difficult it can be to find space for yourself within all of that.

Above all, I want therapy to feel human. I hope to offer a space where you can be yourself, have honest conversations, feel supported and understood, and perhaps even share some humour along the way. You don’t need to have anything figured out before you come in. We can start exactly where you are.
